At the time, Mr. Bourassa represented Campeau Corporation, one of the largest Canadian developers of housing, shopping centers, and office parks throughout Canada and the Southeastern United States. The partnership of Bourassa and Campeau was instrumental in the development of numerous South Florida properties, including the planning, construction and sales of Ocean Trail, a residential condominium project on the Jupiter Inlet that involved the development of 4 oceanfront towers and one ocean view complex. Since that time, Indeco has always operated under the same name, and has always been headquartered in the same area.
