Investor John Bourassa has purchased the Hillview Vineyard from Koves-Newlan Vineyard and Winery in a deal that may represent a record price for Yountville (California) vineyard land. Located north of Darns Lane with frontage on Solano Avenue at Hwy 29, the vineyard includes 16.33 acres, with 13.2 acres planted mostly to Pinot Noir. It sold for $2.5 million, pushing $190,000 per acre. Sally Nicholson of International Wine Associates represented the seller.
