Winery Plans Approved - Permit Issued
A year of planning and working with local Napa Valley winery and vineyard consultants, county officials and neighbors culminated in a unanimous approval for Indeco to build a new winery facility on its Hillview Vineyard property. Local support was unprecedented, as plans for the new facility, designed to resemble an old fashioned horse barn, were warmly received by all adjacent property owners.
Hillview Vineyard is located in the heart of Napa Valley's Oak Knoll District, facing Highway 29, and adjacent to the tracks of the world-renowned Napa Valley Wine Train. The 16 acre vineyard produces the perfect Bordeaux blend of grapes with Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The vineyard also has small lots of Zinfandel and Pinot Noir. The property is truly a red wine producer's paradise, with gorgeous views of the foothills of Mt. Veeder.
The highly sought after permit will enable Indeco to construct a 12,000 square foot facility, complete with tasting room, wine library, crush pad, fermentation tanks and barrel storage for 30,000 gallons per annum. Public tastings and special events are also permitted. A detached guest house for friends and partners completes the planned improvements. |
